Metal Gear is one of, if not the best, video game series of all time.

yes, it's quirky, but it's definitely epic. I hate to use Epic as it's such a cliche word but it's so damn... umph.

It's all about how you tell the story, which they do damn well in all the Metal Gear games. Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 made me bawl.

hehehe...yeah I didn't figure you could tell the story in only three strips. It's a long fracking game on it's own merits...

/I also completely forgot about the running up the stairwell from hell part of the game!
//...which also reminded me about the absurdly long climb up a ladder in Snake Eater...
///...maybe you can do a montage of really long upward ascents (Yes I'm thinking of the Shinra building in Final Fantasy VII)

at least the long ladder had the snake eater theme. Probably to make it more obvious when you got to the top. Plus you don't have to backtrack it or climb it with people shooting at you CHRIST THAT STAIRCASE IS LIKE THE STAIRWAY TO HELL.

metal gear is a rediculous game, what's better is somehow all the characters you kill on one game are back in the next but its supposed to be a continuing story. ... soo wtf. If I were snake Id burn everyone I kill just to be safe.

Besides.. not sure if people thought about this, but Metal Gear is a walking robot that fires nukes... how is that more dangerous than the hundreds of submarines we have that can do that, but faster, with more nukes, and more stealthily?? They act like its the worst thing in the world but apparently a foot soldier can take it on solo.

During my fight with her, on the PSX version, nikitas were locked during the whole fight... So it was me, a PSG-1, some tranqulizers and her, her PSG-1 and a much bigger bottle of them.
She's like permanently stoned.
