One more post for the road!

First, my original webcomic is finally A Thing. It's called Cucumber Quest, and you can read it over here!

Next, here are the last two pages I did of the Persona 4 comic before it kinda fizzled out. It isn't much, but I figured it'd be best to post them instead of letting them die alone on my computer. Hope you enjoy them!

Hello!

You may have noticed that this journal has not updated in a very long time. Sure, it's usual for updates to take a while here, but the Persona 4 comic hasn't been updated since March. You may be wondering why it's taking so long for the next part to get finished.

If you are wondering about that, please read this post that I wrote on tumblr last month:
"The truth is, I haven’t been working on that Persona 4 comic. I’m probably not going to work on that Persona 4 comic for a while, if at all. I don’t know.

Here’s the reason I haven’t been working on it: my interests have changed a lot. I started drawing that comic over a year ago, in summer 2009. I’m just not as interested in Persona 4 now as I was back then, and if I tried continuing that comic today, you’d just get something really halfhearted and unfunny.

Right now, I want to work on illustrating my own stories, which I guess is obvious with how rarely I’ve been drawing fanart lately. I’m working on a webcomic I want to launch next year, and I’m really excited about it. By this, I’m not saying hiimdaisy is OVER FOREVER, but it’s just unlikely that it’ll get the same attention from me as it did a while ago.

I’d say there’s a good chance that most of you found me through my Persona 4 comic. If you’re only interested in me for the fanart, I’m sorry! I’m just not as into that right now. I hope you understand."

I guess I'm saying hiimdaisy is on that weird indefinite hiatus that a lot of webcomics tend to go on. Again, I'm sorry to disappoint.

I do want to take this opportunity to thank you guys for all of your sweet comments and kind wishes! I also want to thank the very talented people responsible for this Persona 4 Comic Dub, which you really ought to see if you haven't already.

To answer a question I've been getting a lot lately: It's totally okay if you use these comics for icons and signatures and stuff! Seriously! As long as you're not claiming you drew it or something, you don't even have to credit me. It's okay!

Thanks so much to everyone for all the positive feedback on the Persona 4 comic! I'm still working on a part 2, but I recently played Professor Layton and the Ridiculous Plot Twist and I couldn't resist doodling a couple of comics about that.

This comic is a summary of the first few hours of Persona 4, but it does have some indirect references to important parts of the story. I didn't consider them to be really big spoilers when I wrote it, so I didn't mention them. Now I realize that I definitely should have, and I'm really sorry to anyone who might have had a plot twist spoiled by this comic. I'll be sure to post all of my comics with a spoiler warning from here on out.
